I quickly learned that the things you *think* you will need because they "make sense" are not always that. Experienced mommies will tell you the the things they couldn't live without for the first few weeks and some of them I would have never guessed. I am trying to get my hands on those items so my DH isn't wandering the baby isle at 11pm with no clue
We are well stocked on the big things such as burp cloths, wipes, diapers, receiving blankets, etc...

Here's what I have so far:
Lanisoh nipple cream
Large Sanitary Pads
Extra Batteries for swing, noise machine, etc.
Newborn First Aid Kit
Nursing Tank Top
Giant Watter Bottle
Easy snacks that may be eaten at room temp for chair side access
Premade, frozen dinners
Can of formula (EVEN if you plan to breastfeed exclusively - just in case)
