Hi mommies, I hope someone can help me. I'm considering all my options when it comes to car seats including travel systems and convertibles and was curious, if you used a convertible, what stroller did you use (if any) for an infant or did you baby wear? (or got a travel system while they were younger and then switched to convertible?) I asked a guy at BRU last night and he seemed really confused as to what I was asking and kept thinking I was talking about putting the convertible seat on a stroller yeah right! I like the idea of the convertible seat but I'm not really into paying $700 for the high price infant strollers and wondered if I was missing something. I really appreciate any advice, wanted to make sure I looked under every rock before resigning to a travel system. TIA

We used a Graco infant seat and stroller initially, then went to the convertible car seat. The stroller was great for a long time (to 3 years of age), but we also had an umbrella stroller once DS was older (9-12 months) for quick trips.

Good luck!

We have an infant seat (Graco) which snaps into our stroller (uppababy vista). We also have a convertible carseat (britax) for up to age 5. And yes, I agree, this stuff is so expensive!!
