Did you listen to music when you were in labor?

Did you lose your mucus plug?

How long was your labor with your other kids?

How much weight did you gain during your last pregnancy?

What was your recovery like after birth?

Did you listen to music when you were in labor? no

Did you lose your mucus plug? no

How long was your labor with your other kids? 23 hours

How much weight did you gain during your last pregnancy? 28 lb

What was your recovery like after birth? I had a catheter the whole next day because I couldn't pee on my own. I had pain for a while - it turned out I was allergic to my stitches & had to be re-stitched about a week after the birth. I also developed a really sore muscle in my hip (not sure how, maybe just lots of time nursing in an awkward position?) so it hurt to walk for a few weeks. I experienced some irritation for several months and that turned out to be from dryness caused by low estrogen (apparently fairly common after giving birth). Sooo.... recovery was a drag. But worth it.

Did you listen to music when you were in labor? No

Did you lose your mucus plug? Yes

How long was your labor with your other kids? 24 hours with DS

How much weight did you gain during your last pregnancy? 60 pounds, but to be fair I lost 30 with morning sickness, so I was only 30 pounds over pre-pregnancy

What was your recovery like after birth? Not bad, although I would highly recommend have some really good quality soft toilet paper around the house... I was up and walking within an hour and a half after the placenta was delivered (there was a ton of family in the room, so that was the earliest I could get up )
