Ok, i've never seen this anywhere, answered before so I figured i'd post it.

What is the limit for time spent outdoors, in direct sunlight? If any?

i try not to keep my kids out in the sun for long periods of time and i always make sure they are coated with sunscreen. my dh used to work in construction and he was outside in direct sunlight for at least 8 to 10 hours a day...i don't know what the limit is but i know it's not good for hours on end

If you mean for kids, I try not to keep Ty in direct sunlight for very long at all. In the summer he always has 30spf or higher on. We try to keep in in the shade or put down the cover thing on the stroller. If he's at the pool he's in direct sunlight but he can keep cool in the pool. Even then we dont spend that much time at the pool. Kids get heat rashed and heat stroke and sunburn alot easier than us so it can be dangerous.

I heard that your not supposed to go outside form 10am to 4pm.. This is when the sun is at it's highest point and at the hottest.
