Fun stuff...lol. My ticker pretty much says it all these days (although I didn't realize until the Zofran post that it's probably being caused by that).

What do you do to help relieve constipation? I heard some ppl mention stool softeners. Is there a certain brand you like?

My Dr gives me colace. It only works if you drink plenty of water. It's been so awful. Last week from Tues-Fri, I was constantly cramping and it was awful. I'm weaning off the Zofran because I can't take it any more

I seem to either be constipated or I can't stop going, TMI I know LOL....I use Milk of Mag when the constipation is really bad, my OB suggested that. It is no fun at all!

I would try increasing your fiber intake and something I learned from weight watchers is to try and get 2 teaspoons of oil in per day (i.e. sunflower oil, canola, olive oil, etc...). It helps regulate you and I find that I go much easier when I get it in on a regular basis.

Prunes and apple juice works for me when things are too "solid".

My Doctor put me on Miralax, Take it everyday while you are on the zofran. It is the only thing that got anything to budge. also drink water until it is coming out of your eye balls.

Colace did noting for me along with prunes. The only think that worked for me was prune juice.

Not sure if you have it where you are, but in Australia you can buy this powder stuff called metamusil (sp?) You add it to a glass of water and it helps keep you regular. It kinda tastes like watered down orange juice.

Benefiber and prunes seem to be helping me. I also take Colace and lots of water, but that combo alone doesn't seem to be enough hence the benefiber and prunes.
