She's been having some contractions the past few days. They are quite regular but her doctor told her there was nothing he would do before 24 weeks anyway so to take it easy and he'd see her on Monday . They would go away when she sat down but now they aren't going away and they are coming every 15 mins. Shes also had some weird pink streaked cm so shes heading up to ER.

Please keep Amee and her little girl in your thoughts and send her some keep on baking vibes please!!!!

*update*
This is what shes said to me
Got into my room and contracting like crazy. One brought tears. My third one since being here. I'm so sick of being here.
They will be sending me for an ultrasound.
they are trying to get an IV started. She stuck me twice with no luck, so they are sending someone else in...

ANOTHER UPDATE
Contractions are picking up... I'm like every 7 minutes if that. I just want them to stop! My back is screaming! Waiting for someone else to stab me to try and get an iv.

Been messaging her back and forth most of the day. That doctor makes me soooo mad!!! Contracting for 3 days at 18w is NOT normal! And it is absolute crap to say that they can't do anything!

Amee and her little family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Awww until you got to the pink streaked cm I was thinking that sounds like what eventually happens to me every pregnancy for months...and for me it means nothing, well it means I'm pregnant, so I was hoping it was just a big case of the nothings, but that is scary when you add the cm . I hope she and baby will be OK! You're in my t&p hun if you see this!

Thinking and praying for you Amee and Harleigh.. I hope your babygirl stays in and bakes for a long while. I would be infuriated at her Dr.. It sounds like he should be eating his words.

Thanks for posting this and keeping us posted, Emma.

Yeah I would've thought the first thing they would do was a pelvic exam to check her cervix but apparently they want to start an IV and then do an U/S first. Trying to keep her spirits up, this stuff is scary!!

When I went into Prem labor with my son they did a U/S too because they can see if its thinning out on there. If they do an internal sometimes it just irritates the cervix further.

Totally makes sense Emma. Never dealt with preterm labor, only miscarriages.

Why don't they give her that shot thing to stop them? Is it because she isn't 24 weeks? Cuz I've just never got that, why don't they try to stop it before then?! It just seems illy to me!

It is like, wait, they aren't "viable" before then, so don't you think that means we ought not to have them being born before then? *shakes head*
