I took my Christmas tree down! I feel like such a slacker for just now getting around to it, but today I got a burst of motivation and made myself do it! I am so relieved it's down!

I usually love keeping my tree up as long as possible, makes me sad when all my xmas stuff is put away BUT this year I kept it up alittle too long (I blamed pregnancy lol) & was glad it was finally down.

We took ours down Jan 12th, which was too long because the needles were making a huge mess. Normally we have an artificial tree and take it down after my birthday (Jan 8th) since my parents did that when I was growing up and I liked the tradition of having my bday gifts under the tree, so we always keep it up probably a little longer than is acceptable. But with a real tree, we decided from now on, it would be taken down much earlier to avoid the mess!

Our indoor C'mas decor is still up!

DH put all the boxes in the attic, and I can't get up there. Until he brings them down the decor stays up.

We just took down our outside decorations yesterday...lol. We're slackers.
