... today is 6 years, since my nephew passed away - from SIDS, at 4 months old (exactly). It's gone so fast, and so much has changed in that time, and I wish he was here to know his little cousin/s...
Here are a couple of photos of him
one of the first photos we have of him - he was a few hours old... he was born at 35 weeks, because of my sister having a UTI, that her m/w told her not to bother treating... He was 6lb3oz @ birth & he was in the NICU for about 10 days
still in the hospital, wearing a little knitted set I knitted for him - in 'our' teams colours.. (my sister is holding him)
one of my favourites of him - he loved being in the froggy position!
first smile (we caught this on 3 cell phones & 2 cameras, lol) - and of course, like Gaby, his first smile was at Poppa
thanks... sadly it was before the time when EVERYONE had digital cameras, so all of our pics were on old school film camera.. so we don't have a tonne of pics..
Im so sorry ...and so sorry for your sister. I Just cant even imagine what its like...i had so many fears of SIDS with katelynn, and i still have them with this one..just cant imagine going through a pregnancy and labor, then something happening to the baby ..its like the worst case scenario possible.
I hope you and your family are taking it easy today, and...my gosh he was too adorable
Im so sorry for your loss. He looked like such a beautiful and happy baby. My heart goes out to your sister and the rest of your family. How sad to lose him so soon.

Thanks *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggie!
I feel angry reading how her midwife told her not to bother treating the UTI, I feel like this sad story could have been prevented...I shouldn't be thinking like that though, he's adorable and I'm so sorry...I saw your status on facebook, but I didn't know the story so I had no comment to make.
