Okay, so my co-worker just informed me that her 1 year old daughter was just diagnosed with the noravirus. The child was in our office yesterday and I held her! So of course now I am freaking out that I am going to get this awful thing, not to mention pass it on to my 3 year old, who willl in turn give it to all her classmates in daycare.
Anyone ever had this and know about any risks involved with being pregnant?
eeek DH and I had it years ago when it was going around (it is the puking bug, right?) it was TERRIBLE!! seriously! I thought I would die. sorry don't want to scare you but it was terrible I cannot imagine having it while preggo!! the good news is it was short lived, less than 24 hrs. There was a bad stomach bug going around my daughters daycare a few weeks ago and I was soooo scared we would all get it but we haven't.....yet! I hope we don't and I hope you don't either!!
Thanks for the info....this is so not what I need right now!
I have been working at the office and just leaving early and putting my feet up. I meet my doc at 2:30pm today to decide on bedrest. Wish it was one day earlier so I wouldn't have been exposed to this!
