This issue is important to me too. I've researched it for years since I had it with my first pregnancy. Can I just add a couple more suggestions? Start taking a calcium/magnesium supplement. Eat lots of protein. Drink lots of water (I know you said it's hard...it is for me too, just do it.). Take an occasional Epsom Salt bath...not every day. I've even read about being in a pool, not necessarily swimming, just submerged. I'm battling the BP again. It just started going up this week...haven't told the dr yet. I'm trying to work on it myself for now. My appt is in 1 week anyway.
But my dr previously told me that your BP normally dips low in the 2nd tri, then rises in the 3rd. It seems like there is still lots of controversy over how high is worrisome. I think my dr is pretty laid back about it...we'll see.
