DD1 is Gabrielle Jayda-Leigh
Jayda is a tribute to my first angel - Jayden, and Leigh is my sisters middle name.
DD2, I decided on Emersyn Georgia-May
Gaby chose the name Georgia, and May is my Mums middle name.
BUT I've started re-thinking the middle names. May will definately be one of them, but I am now considering three different middle name combos
- Georgia-May (as I said, Gaby chose Georgia)
- Lily-May (Lily just seems to go well with May, and Lily-May is quite girly)
- Isobel-May (Isobel is my Nana's name, that said, I'm not particularly close to her)
Emersyn Georgia-May - I've been calling her this since day 1, so it's a little weird to think of her as anything else, but Georgia doesn't feel 100% right, though still right enough that I could easily use it
Emersyn Lily-May - I think it makes up for the un-feminine sounding first name, and Lily-May seems to flow really nicely together
Emersyn Isobel-May - It'd be a tribute to my Nana, and again is a more 'girly' sounding m/n
What do you all think? I don't so much care about Gabrielle & Emersyn's names being different styles & a not really being a 'natural' sibset, I just want Emersyn's name to sound nice and balanced....
I spoke to my sister & she said she really likes Lily-May (although I think she just likes the fact her initials would be ELMO - lol)... I asked Gaby which of the 3 she prefers & she said she prefers Lily-May too (probably because her BFF at preschool is Lily)
of the 3 I still like Georgia best, I like the name Georgia on its own too so that is probably why....they all sound pretty though. So long as you name her Emersyn it's all good with me not sure if you remember but that was my girl name pick, she would have been Emersyn Louise.
it's quite funny, a lot of the American/Canadian/UK ladies have said Georgia - but the NZ'ers I've asked, have said Lily... Georgia is REALLY popular here, and I guess people are sick of it
I still like Georgia best. I think its because Gaby picked it. You don't have to use all the initials in the name. My daughters middle name is Violet-Anne and I just use the V.
I like them all, but Lily-May just jumped out at me - really beautiful!

I don't know which one to use now lol.. My sister, Mum & Gaby all like Lily-May, and both of the polls i put on JM, Lily-May is winning...... so maybe that's all a sign
I LOVE Lily-May. I really love really girlie names and Lily is one of my favorites.

Hmm I still like Georgia-May best. Lily-May just doesn't seem to flow off the tongue naturally for me when I say it out loud. Georgia-May does. Maybe that is because I am so used to is since you have been calling her that one for so long? Anyway...team Georgia here.
