I read down to the bottom that the guy will only get 7 years in prison if convicted. DH said he should get the death penalty. I agree!! I guess he's lucky we're not on the jury.

That's just terrible!! I cant believe someone would do that to a child!!!! I agree, the death sentence sounds better nad won't be wasting tax dollars on that sore excuse for a human being!
That is horrible. I grew up in that area, and know exactly where that is. I can only hope that he gets the maximum sentence, and that the mother has more sense than to go back to him when he gets out.

Someone here threw their 5-year-old over the side of a very high bridge in the middle of rush hour traffic. She died Her older brother was in the car and saw the whole thing. The dad was a nut and was in the middle of a custody batle with the mom ... so so so sad.
He should get more than 7 years and the mother should get something too. The report said in 2009 she filed charges against the man for domestic abuse...but she is still with him. She knew he was abusive and yet she continued to endanger hers and her kids lives.

Good point... also that she got back in the car after he threw the baby... of course, maybe she was afraid for all of them at that point. Hard to say. This is horrible, but I hope he gets raped every day in prison!
