Did anyone NOT wait the full 6 weeks recommended? I was reading online that if you did not have a difficult pregnancy, birth, stitches, etc. it would typically be safe to resume DTD after 3 weeks as long as bleeding is gone or at least pink instead of red, since your cervix is closed by 2 weeks. I am really nervous about it, but want to resume ASAP. just wondering if anyone resumed before 6 weeks!

I did with my first at 2 1/2 weeks, but I didn't stop bleeding this time until just a few days ago. So hopefully tonight I get some now that DH is home!

I only waited 3 weeks. I did have stitches but I felt completely healed so I went for it even though my doctor said not to before 6 weeks.

Didn't hurt at all, so obviously all was fine. First time around I waited 2.5 months because I was so sore.

I only waited 5 days with this one. But I had no stitches, and wasn't bleeding, mostly just spotting.

We did it at 3 weeks because I had no tearing and no stitches. It stung a little so we took it slow and its okay now.

With my first, it was months ... but I had ppd, severe sleep deprivation, etc. No interest. DH didn't have any either, lol...

This time, I'm waiting till six weeks but no longer. BUT I am nervous about getting pregnant accidentally, so I will be VERY careful.

I waited until the full six weeks with my daughter and will do the same this time. I would much rather have everything all healed up and go back to normal.

I had stitches so we are waiting the 6 weeks just to be safe. I'm still not sure what I'm doing about birth control though!

Never had stitches

3 weeks with this one.

My 3rd baby, it was like 5 days, I stopped bleeding like super quick, I just had light spotting.
