Maybe it's a little girl thing, but my child does not nap. Ok, that's a slight exageration she'll sleep for MAYBE 15 minutes about 3-4 times a day. Now, she does sleep from about 10pm until about 7am, so I know I shouldn't be looking a gift horse in the mouth, it's just that I need to get stuff done during the day.
She's a good baby and will go in her swing, or in her excersaucer for a bit, but even then she gets fed up and it's back to wanting to be with mommy. I do sling her but due to my sons violent outbursts that isn't always an option if I have to restrain him.

Anyone else have sleepless babies??? I'm so not ready for this stage.

Sam has not been napping either! yesterday he napped no kidding for 30 total minutes from the hrs of 8am to 7pm! however he went to bed around 7pm and slept until 4am, ate and went to bed until 7:30am so like you I can't really complain. and he is like Ella, happy most of the day but likes to be held lots.

Lilyan doesn't nap that well either. Tiny cat naps here and there, unless she is in her car seat out and about (most times she sleeps the entire 'trip'). She also doesn't sleep well each night, poor kid! My DH is home with her for right now and he wishes she would nap so he could get more things done as well.

Caleb was like that and has been napping now which almost worried me. When I talked ot my ped, he told me that his sleeping at night makes up for not napping--didn't make me feel better though. I felt and still feel guilty if he's not napping and in his bouncer while I do stuff but he's content so I guess I just have to get over it. LOL.

I hope she starts napping for you!

Gabriel has lots of days where he doesn't nap much, either. Drives me crazy sometimes, but fortunately, he's usually content laying on a blanket or against his Boppy if I'm in the same room. So I can still get some stuff done. I think the lack of naps finally caught up to him last night; he fell asleep at 9:30 (two hours earlier than usual) and has been sleeping for 11 out of the past 11.5 hours!

Jaxson usually naps a lot but yesterday he didn't sleep all day and I wanted to scream. I wouldn't mind if he was a happy baby but all he does is fuss. I can only hold him for so long. He's not a fan of the Mony Wrap unless we are out and about running errands. I really want my napping baby back!

Josie didn't sleep for longer than 15 min yesterday, and by bedtime was screaming. We were out with my sister, and she never even slept in the car! I was hoping for some good sleep tonight, and she went four hours, ate for a solid hour, and was up again 2 hours later. :-/ I think it's her 6 week growth spurt, but I need some dang sleep if she won't sleep at night or during the day!!
