I feed my son a bottle and cereal around 745-815ish. He is in bed by 830. What time do you feed your LO? Reid does not wake up during the night at all so I don't need to feed him at night.

I was told I was going to promote childhood obesity by feeding him so late. He meal before that is at 330! I don't feed him when we eat because he still eats more often than we do because of his breathing issue.

Am I the only one?!

Caleb gets dinner with us around 5:30 or 6, and then a bottle before bed which I'm weaning him from by watering it down as part of weaning him from the bottle altogether.

Holly eats dinner with us and that's usually it for the night but we eat kind of late, 7ish and she goes to bed at 8.

We also eat late, about 6 or 6:30 ... Emily has dinner with us (whatever we're eating) plus water or milk, and that's it. She goes to bed without milk/water at about 7 or 7:15.

Basically, the kids go right from the dinner table to the bathroom for bath time, then up to the bedrooms for pj's, story time and into bed. No eating in between.

Does it promote obesity to eat late? I doubt it - the French seem to eat dinner at like 8 or 9 or even later, and most people in France aren't heavy :shrug:

Sam eats dinner with us around 5/5:30 and then has a cup of milk around 6:30 and goes to bed around 7 or 7:30pm.

We usually eat dinner around 6pm and then he goes to bed at 8. He sleeps through the night and wants a cup of milk when he wakes up in the morning and usually has breakfast after his morning nap.

We eat dinner whenever we get around to it. Never before 6 though. He eats dinner, has a bottle of milk and goes to bed somewhere between 7 and 8:30 usually. He runs around all day long, I doubt he will be even close to obese.

Noelle has dinner with us somewhere around 6:30. Sometimes she will have "dessert" with the older kids if they have something, but it's not a nightly thing. (dessert in my house = fruit with yogurt dip, or occasionally another treat on a weekend night) Bedtime is around 8pm, she usually has a bottle before and sleeps just about through the night.

Harleigh has dinner around 5:30 or 6. She is generally in bed by 7:30 at the latest and we give her a bottle at bed time.
She doesn't eat a lot as it is, but combined with teething and possible growth spurt, this child is up constantly at night.

Autumn does not have bottles any more.

Luke eats with us around 6:30pm each night. Last night we ate before that because DD had dance class. But typically it 's around 6:30pm each night. He doesn't have anything else to eat after that. He goes to bed at 8:30pm

This is the same for us. Except, if she doesn't eat as much as usual at dinner, I'll give her a snack about a half hour before bed. Usually a pack of mum-mums since they don't make a mess of her pjs. The better she eats, the better she sleeps.
