Against your better judgement you visit a new hair salon. You tell the nice lady with the scissors that you would like a trim. Nothing major. And that you would also like longer bangs that are blended with the rest of your style.

45 minutes later, you walk out with what can best be described as a big brown football helmet with bangs that look very out of place. Too shocked to say anything at that exact moment, you leave the salon. Crying quiet tears on the inside, hoping that maybe you will get used to it. Two days pass and you are still not used to it, in fact you dislike it more with each passing second.

Do you go back to the original salon and ask for someone who can fix it? Or do you go somewhere else completely?

I'm going to say that it's a "friend". Said "friend" now has an appointment saturday at a different salon with the owner of said salon and is crossing her fingers for the best.

Believe me, I looked into that briefly. Round trip tickets for the middle of next week were just $109, so it was a serious thought for a moment.
