Today, Ben toddled into the kitchen, looked at me defiantly, spat out a mouthful of spinach he'd managed to separate from his scrambled eggs and chipmunk in his mouth for 15 minutes onto the floor, then toddled out.

LOL not funny but made me chuckle....Sam constantly takes a mouthful of a drink and randomly spits it out and then cracks up and runs away

LOL. Cam does the same thing. This morning DH didn't put the lid on Cams sippy cup on right. Cameron then proceeded to spill his milk on our coffee table and was splashing in it. He saw me and ran leaving little milk hand prints on our couch. Grrr...

We too are finding that spitting or letting a large mouthful of what ever slowly dribble down our chin is HILARIOUS! Doesn't help that the 9 year old boy in my house also thinks this behavior is giggle worthy. I wouldn't call it defiance, but more of a figuring out what works and what doesn't in the world. I guess for me, you have to consciously know that you are doing something wrong to be defiant - and at this age, they are still learning.

Lol... I also don't think of it as defiance. Elias made us laugh so hard tonight when he refused to eat supper, because he spat and sprayed everything we put in his mouth at us, hehe. as it turns out, he's very opinionated about honey flavors too. He refuses to even put one type of honey in his mouth, and devoured another!

Hehe, we have the milky mouth mess game going on here too and ds thinks it''s so funny which of course encourages her. I kind of have to stifle my smile and giggles too.

I have no advice but it's a cute story! What an intrepid little guy he is, managing to separate the spinach from the eggs

Oh, I have a milk dribbler. I don't know why it's so fun, but I hate it, because everything ends up smelling like sour milk, no matter how fast I am to clean it up. (Stupid pregnant sense of smell...)

Oh I know it's not true defiance, I'm just kidding! But I thought it was hilarious that he walked all the way into the kitchen just to look at me, spit out his spinach, and walk out.

He also thinks it's funny to blow bubbles in his drink cup with a straw. He cracks himself up every time.
