Is tooth brushing time a happy one at your house, or is it some rare form of Toddler torture?
How many times a day are you managing to get a good scrub on your little one's pearly whites?

It is happy time if he is allowed to do it himself. Really he just sucks the toothpaste off and dips his brush under the water. He LOVES it. If I try to "help" he gets mad. We are brushing in the mornings and during bath time, so once or twice a day now.

Sam loves to brush his teeth, I let him do it himself and then I actually do the brushing when he is done messing around with the toothbrush, we aim for 2x a day, morning and at bedtime.

It's usually a happy time. I let him attempt to brush on his own and then when he's done, I will sing our made up song on brushing teeth while I brush them for him again.

Bedtime is the only mandatory one...I can only brush for about 25 seconds before she pulls it out. She will brush her own if we give her the brush (sort of).

It's not really going too well in our house. Akadia does not want a tooth brush in her mouth. I have to pry her mouth open and then she closes it over the brush so I have no idea what I'm brushing. Sometimes she will do it herself, but most of the time she just throws her brush on the floor. Not fun...

Abigail loves brushing her teeth. She also just mostly sucks the toothpaste off and asks for more.

Noelle loves playing with the toothbrush. She will play with it, put it in her mouth and suck off the water or toothpaste. It's when it actually comes time for mommy or daddy to take over and give her teeth a real brush that the trauma begins. We generally have to both hold her and work as a team to get a good 30second brushing in. We aim to get that done in the evening as part of her bedtime routine.

Toddler torture. Harleigh hates it and bites, screams, and kicks.

Gabriel loves toothbrush time and will come running when I tell him it's time to brush his teeth. Granted, I just get 5-10 seconds of good brushing in before he grabs the toothbrush and wants to do it (=suck on it) himself. We only brush in the mornings at this point.

This about sums up our situation with Sarah as well. She just will not let me into her mouth. Stubborn little monkey.

He loves it. He says "Teeth!" and then puts his arms in the air for hooray when we're done. We do it twice a day.

Andrew loves getting his teeth brushed. We do it before bed in the evening with his siblings. Usually I'll brush first then let him finish. 5 days out of 7 I'll manage to remember to brush his in the morning.

Ditto everything! He hates when I do it, but loves to "brush" himself.

We actually just started doing this consistently, but it's only at bedtime for now. So far, she really enjoys it.

Luke loves it! He likes to "spit" it out - it's so cute. It's a morning and night time ritual
