So I know Halloween is just days away, but who has started the shopping? Or finished? Wrapped?
I have started. I typically buy everything and then start wrapping. I like to play Christmas music and wrap everything at once. Because I'm a dork.
What is everyone getting their Junebug? I know we are getting him a water table, but I'm now thinking of a train set? Too soon? I was at a friends house this weekend and they had a train set and Luke was so intrigued with it. I looked online and most say ages 3 and up. Thoughts?

I'm about halfway through my shopping for the girls. I don't wrap until right before christmas. I got Sofia the weeble treehouse(she loves weebles), and I'm going to get her a baby doll, and probably some books. All things she loves, it was hard decideing what to get her since Carly is only a year old and we already have everything.
I'm getting the girls a "big" joint gift, but haven't decided exactly what yet.
I don't worry about the ages on toys. If it comes with small parts, I take those parts away if possible. I say get it for him if you think he'll like it.

I have picked up a few things already and I have a list made out for both kids, I just have to order everything.....I am getting Sam a Battery operated ATV, it is small, made for age 2, I think he will love it.....also getting him a helmet haha, and then just some random stuff a remote control car, a firetruck, a little guitar, books and a few other things I can't think of at the moment.
Sam has a small wooden trainset, it was Sydney's but she never really played with it, he loves it!! I say go for it!

I haven't bought anything yet, but I have started canning homemade goodies for our family- things like butters and jellies.
We are going to get Dallas a play table and chair set and some books. Not sure what else yet though. I need to get a move on with all the Christmas stuff though, since my due date is Christmas day, I don't really have the option of waiting til the last minute!

We havent even started yet. Got some basic ideas. Kai likes transformers so we will prolly get him a big bumble bee transformer. No idea about Dakotta. Xavier seems to love toys that he can pull along as he walks so something along those lines will be a good one for him.

We haven't started for Caleb. I have NO idea what to get him since I don't want to get him any toys for outside since it will be COLD. We also really don't have space for any big toys here...so probably lots of books and I'm debating getting him a little toy camera or something. I would LOVE to do a train set, but I will have to wait til the next house.
I'm doing shutterfly books for the grandparents so I've started piddling with that stuff already and organizing pictures.

We do digital photo albums for the grandparents every year. They love it!
I may do the train, I have to talk to DH. We also are out of room!

I haven't started buying for my kids yet, but am almost done with the gifts that I need to ship. I should get started on my kids, but I know that all of the stores will be having pretty good sales every week after thanksgiving.
For Noelle I am thinking that it will be dollies, doll clothes and other doll things, dress up clothes, tea set, probably some books, puzzles and clothes too. I have no clue for the older kids other than I know they are each getting our old iPhone 3g's to use an ipods so I would assume cases and other accessories will be in order for those. Likely clothes and make up for Genna and probably clothes and video games for Stephen.

I'm pretty much done, but have some more to finish...
I'm making Emily a rag quilt with a matching dollie sized one, plus re-painting an old thrift-store dolly bed so that has to be done. Plus I bought a new dollie to go with it. She has a few other little things. We try to do the something they want, something they need, something to wear and something to read. So the want in in this case it the dollie and bed, the need is the new quilt (it's sized for the toddler bed), the wear is a little skirt I got her, and I need to pick up a board book.
The stuff for Michael is basically done... same, with the want/need/wear/read ...
Then there's all the extended family but we're keeping it simple this year .... photos of the kids for the grandparents, possibly some homemade preserves or spice mixes, things like that.
And I think DH and I are going to "buy" each other a new tv and unit to hold it...
I want to have everything done by end of November, if not earlier.
