Sofia doesn't do it all the time, but she does do it. What really gets her going is when I'm paying attention to or cuddling Carly and not her. Because didn't you know I'm only her mommy, not Carly's lol

Awesome, apparently I traveled back in time, stupid JM. I obviously did not write the first post, Heck I didnt even write my post on the date is says, nevermind the time.

no nattie doesnt do that anymore becuase I made a rule that is she wants to screm and throw a fit like that she has to do it in her bedroom where I cant see her. so if she starts I take her to her room - then she calms down and comes back out to where I am .

I wish I could permanently attach Ben to my hip, because when my arms get tired or I have work to do, I put him down and the screaming begins. Apparently it's toddler torture. I have no clue what to do!

Cam only does that when he gets up from his afternoon nap. I don't know why but he does. I have no advice to give but know that you are not alone.

Elias only does that when he's sleepy (ready for a nap or just waking up from a nap).

Rebecca did that EVERY TIME I PUT HER DOWN. I put her in a sling constantly from about 9 months (when she started walking) until she was about 18 months (just before Elias was born).

I know it's just a phase and some kids get it worse than others... and I KNOW that it's all about bonding and you're supposed to just go with it... however there are times you just need to get dinner going, you know? I feel like the worst parent ever when I pry his little fingers off me and lock him in the playroom so I can open the oven door without him getting curious. Sometimes I stick him in front of Barney or Wonder Pets. Yes TV, that probably makes me a horrible parent, but you know what, it usually gets him out of my hair at least for a few minutes before he comes looking for me again! All without tears, too. So I stand by my decision. Let the bashing begin.

Christian is like that sometimes too. I usually give him lots of cuddles if I can or wear him if I have to do things like make dinner or clean.

Luke does that now, too. As soon as I get home from work, I change clothes and start getting dinner ready since it's typically already 6:30pm by then. He cries and screams and throws fits because I block him out of the kitchen. He just screams "mama! mama!" over and over like I'm torturing him!

Sarah has her fits too. I just let her fuss for a bit and then she calms down. I have resorted to TV distraction at time too.
