Ben vomits about once/week. Everywhere. We're not sure, but it may be related to his exaggerated gag reflex... if he gags on food, he's almost guaranteed to vomit afterward. But I'm wondering if this is normal at his age? Anyone with experience in this unfortunate area?

James has thrown up twice during tantrums. I hope that was not a sign of things to come. It's bad enough when they're sick and throwing up. I would hate for it to become a regular thing.

Hopefully Ben's gag reflex becomes less sensitive as he gets older. I'm glad James doesn't have that issue. He loves gagging himself.

Sometimes if Noelle really gets herself super worked up about something she will make herself gag and throw up. But not from just gagging on food or something.

Have you mentioned it to your Pedi?

One of the babies I babysat had a super sensitive gag reflex and at least 2-3x a week I cleaned up vomit because he'd swallowed the wrong way or whatever. :-P He's outgrown this issue to my knowledge now. Hopefully Ben will too.

No experience here either, but my son will throw up if he rough houses too much after dinner. I caught Sarah putting her fingers into her mouth the other day and she gagged herself, but not something she does regularly. I hope Ben outgrows his gagging.

Ok, I feel better knowing he's not the only one! No I haven't mentioned it to my pedi yet, but I will just to be safe.
