I am done shopping for the kids, I just need to wrap and send the stuff to my parents house since we spend Christmas there. After Thanksgiving we will decorate and hopefully by then all the shopping is done so we can kick back and just enjoy. We will bake and do crafts and do some Holiday events around here. December is always super busy with parties and stuff so I am sure this year will be no different.

I guess now that Halloween is over, it is officially the "Holiday" season. The Costco we shop at has had Christmas stuff out for a few weeks now, so I guess they were getting an early start. I am sure by the time the weekend rolls around all of the stores will have followed suit.

What do you do at your house to get ready for the Holidays?

I'm hoping to have shopping done by the end of this month,I already started the girls. We usually decorate the day after thanksgiving, but we'll be outof town this year so we won't do it until the first weekend of December. Pictures are scheduled for Nov 12th for christmas cards. I'm still not sure what our plans are for Christmas day.

I LOVE Christmas time! I stream radio at work and they played a Christmas song yesterday and it put me into such a good mood!

DH got paid yesterday and I get paid this Friday, so I am going to try to knock out a lot of my shopping Sunday.

We got most of our things for Christmas. I have to organize them and then start wrapping. We do our decorating after Thanksgiving for Christmas so we have a few weeks to go on that.

What a great idea!!!! I've been worried about how we would pack the gifts into the van without DD noticing anything when we go to the in-laws for Christmas. Thanks for the idea!!

The stores here seem to have started early. Everything has been set up next to the Halloween stuff for weeks.

This will be the first year we actually decorate the house, since DD was so upset we didn't decorate for Halloween. That won't be until December 1st though. We're going to start our Christmas baking this weekend though, which I'm excited about.
