Amanda that looks horrible! I hope it clears up quickly and Levi doesn't catch it.
Sorry about the sinus pain, Michelle.
I went to the science museum this morning with James and he had a great time. He ran around touching everything for 3 hours and now is sleeping soundly. There was a group of high school kids there and all the girls gushed over James whenever we walked by them.

aww that's sweet! I am thinking of a museum trip this weekend, maybe the Children's Museum or the Franklin Institute. We have a 3 day weekend so we need to plan an activity outside of the house or the kids get restless!

Is Monday Family day in the States too? We have a 3 day weekend too. We all get restless after even one day in the house. Thankfully DH can take most of Monday off. I can't leave the house alone with the two kids.

Holy hell. I'm sure I've mentioned here several times by best friend who is a total flipping flake and always bails on our plans....well, we were supposed to meet today to make up for her bailing on our Tuesday date and guess what? She bails again! Jeepers. I've always known her to be this way with other people but I was never at the receiving end of it until fairly recently. Blah. And she's a really sensitive and defensive person so when I try and call her on it it turns into a big thing for her. I don't have time for this baloney.
Hmmm, I'm failing in my attempts to stay positive. Help me out, Kim!

Ugh, Amanda that does not look good at all. Hopefully you are on the mend quickly.
Boo to cancelled play dates as well.
I've been stuck in the trenches that are tax season all morning. We had some issues with DS and school yesterday that had me totally unfocused and I am paying for that today in piles of work that built up in just one afternoon. I am slowly but surely getting caught up, but like we say 'tis the season! April 17th can't get here fast enough!

I have high hopes for a good day today. I managed to get so much accomplished yesterday, I'm hoping today will be the same. And a great, productive day to you all too!

See this is me every other day lately, very productive hoping the next day will be the same...but then I totally bomb out...why can't I put two together?

I used to have a friend that her bailing became so infamous that I would invite her places just so she could text me all night and say she might meet us at the next part of our evening (like we'd go to dinner, and then somewhere else for drinks, then somewhere else to hang, then a movie, etc.) and each step she'd claim she was coming but just had to get a few things done. We would totally laugh about it...cuz it was ridiculous, she was never coming!

Morning girls! sorry Michelle I have friends like that too, it's totally exhausting trying to keep the friendship together there is one friend in particular that I have kinds given up on, I mean I am here if she needs me but my attempts to get to together with her are over it's just too much :/
Sydney woke up with a funky eye today too, not pink eye looking really but a little swollen underneath and watery, the light doesn't bother her, it isn't oozing gunk or pink but def it is not right, so I have to call the pedi and see what they say I guess. DH is taking her to work with him this morning, wish him luck with that haha. Seriously why can my kids not stay healthy? wah! she probably picked it up at her birthday party on the germy bounce stuff *sigh* ....in other news my mom should have her biopsy back to today, or at least I hope so! tired of waiting for the results, all of us!!
ok the positive.....it's a long weekend!!! if everyone is healthy we may go to the kids museum tomorrow and we are also going to shop for a new mattress for Sydney, her's is a super cheap one and it kinda sucks, I know this because I slept with her last night and my back hurts haha.....time for nice one that will last a lot of years!

Good morning!
Christen, I totally have 1 on day and then one off day all the time. Yesterday ended up being a big dud and then at 3 am I woke up all stressed about all the things I have on my plate and stayed up for 2 hours working
But today will be good. Kim, your dh is a brave (crazy) man! Hope everyone is healthy for fun weekend adventures. I bet Sydney will love a new, cozy mattress. Maybe she'll become a super star sleeper!
How are your eyes today, Amanda? They look so painful!

well I talked to the pedi office who said pink eye is running rampant this year so yeah that's good to know I guess, (Amanda you aren't alone! if that makes you feel better, maybe?) anyway we have drops from the last pink eye epidemic so he said I can use those for Miss Sydney and we already have an appointment for Monday anyway for her checkup so if it isn't better by then he will re-eval. Said it is most likely the beginning of pink eye though.
now to start work, time to be productive!

Good morning sore eyed, crappy friend, good luck biopsy friends. I wonder if Alex gets monday off? I know it's not a holiday here in quebec, but working in healthcare he ofte gets strange days like that off. Hmm.
I have the urge to go hack up all the ice on my driveway while it's warm. That would require me chopping and keeping ella out of the giant puddles. Hmm.

Good morning! My eyes still suck. Less puffy then yesterday but still pretty red. I am back at work though. My boss paid for my dr. bill which is awesome!!! At least I got to rest yesterday and catch up on sleep. If I had to be sick with something, I'd rather pink eye then flu right?
I swear I didn't give it to Sydney! Poor girl. The dr. said most likely that I got it from my snotty kid. Wiping his nose and touching my eyes.
I also heard that there is a lot of pink eye going around.

Maybe all the pink eye is just a side effect off valentine's day. We can call it Valentine's eye and then it will be cute and romantic? Hmmm?

"they're only kids once", as one of our annoying friends likes to say all the time. I've been doing this with James all week. I spend an hour working on the driveway, he spends the hour swishing around in the cold water. His clothes are almost dry by the time we head out again the next afternoon.
Realized today that I will have my period when we are at Walt Disney World next month. Boo. No pools for me.
Are any of the little boys here really into cars? Over the last month, James has become increasingly obsessed with them. Now it is pretty much all he plays with.

it's not so much the puddles as the crappy waste island drivers. nevermind the fact that queen princess diva mcscreams dislikes her clothing being wet in the least.
