Good Morning!
Hope you feel better Kim. Glad you feel better Michelle!
I am full of good news this morning. My 90 days at work is up on Monday. I thought it was 90 work days, but it's 90 total! That means I get health insurance, vision and dental for myself and the fam! Also, I am technically not supposed to get a paid holiday yet but my boss said he would pay me for this Friday since we are closed for Good Friday. They like me here
They opened the super annoying bridge to my house overnight too! After 8 LONNNGGG months, I can finally go directly home!

thanks girls....the dr appointment didn't make me feel much better, he ordered labs, xrays, etc and said I need to see the urologist as planned on Thursday, he said it could be a bad UTI, coupled with dehydration he said that would make the blood in my urine seem like a lot, he said he really feels like it is interstital (sp?) cystitis which is a chronic inflammation in the bladder but of course he did mention it could always be malignancy in rare cases, of course I am convinced I have cancer, seriously convinced, freaking out and crying and I am literally just a big mess. My husband is of course convinced it is nothing and I am over reacting and says whatever it is we deal with it which of course is true but I have never really been faced with many health issues so I am freaked, I also have an uncle with kidney cancer and of course the whole thing with my mom, I just feel like I am defeated, yes I know woah is me :/.....anyway I still don't know anything, waiting for the results of the tests and the dr said the uro will do a cystoscopy most likely.....now after Kim's pity party, back to your regularly scheduled posting ladies

ok just to update on my drama llama post....the dr called me with the xray results and essentially it showed some calcifications which are suspected to be urethral stones...so that's good news I guess but I still need a CT to confirm, sigh, oh well the news could have been worse, still worried but I am a worry wart :/

Ah Kim, it's ok. We're here for you to vent. It sounds like a lot of information to digest. But it's good he got back to you so quickly with the results of the x-ray. Stones are no fun, but you'll be ok.
Did he take you off the antibiotics that were making you so sick?
Thanks for your help in healing Leah, Amanda. Maybe Kim needs an extra special dose just for her.

thanks girls, my CT is tomorrow afternoon I wanted it ASAP, I have googled and since got myself worked up again, I know better but what can I say. I really have no idea, I guess the stones would have to pass, I am still on the antibiotics and my stomach feels a mess but that is probably partially nerves :/ I also have to see the urologist on Thursday still.

Google cancer.
Have any of you had to pass stones before? I haven't. It's one of those things that I'm always surprised modern medicine hasn't solved yet. Come on, science get your act together!

My DH has passed kidney stones twice. The first time was horrible. The second time he didn't even notice when they passed. My FIL recently had some blasted (an out-patient procedure) to break them apart and it took him a day to recover from that.

Hey, has anyone's junebug become a terrifying monster? In the last few days holly has become a veritable demon. We are afraid of her. The slightest thing, like a diaper change or putting the markers away, sets her off. And once she's set off it's pretty hard to get her back on again. She SCREAMS and growls and tries to bite and acts like a crazy, rabid beast. And will go on for HOURS. After playgroup today she lost her shizz over having to go in the stroller. She fought it so hard she actually broke the harness. I think she might be coming down with what I have and I hope to god that is what is causing this. I have no idea what to do with her like that.
Anyone?

my dad, BIL, MIL, and FIL have all had kidney stones, they all say it is really painful, I really don't have a lot of pain, a dull ache but not really pain IDK all this medical stuff is stressing me out
Sam can be that way sometimes but nearly as bad as my dd was at this age, she too was a rabid beast, maybe it's a girl thing?

James has been having more and more freak out sessions lately too. But I've gotten really good at walking away and ignoring him now and I think they're getting shorter. He hasn't had a really long fit since he recovered from our trip a couple of weeks ago. His fits are usually over food.

Glad there are other rabid toddlers around. It's hard to just walk away because she throws herself in my path, claws at my legs, etc. I will try harder.

James will come find me when he starts calming down and if I look over in his general direction, he starts all over again. He prefers space during his tantrums, so it's easier for me to walk away than if he was pawing at me like Holly.

Good morning. So groggy today!
I have a dishwasher repair guy coming by this morning. I hope he comes early so that we can make it to playgroup.
Sidenote: Am I the only person who associates repair men with hilarious porno scenarios????

Kim, don't go away, you can be crazy with us! I think it's normal for our brains to go to the worst case scenario and it is totally scary when things aren't working properly with our bodies. Will you know the results from the ct right away or will you have to wait? Either way, it's going to be good news, Kim! No cancer for you, ok?
