That's exactly what I did. Made sure I ate all the Easter candy I could get my hands on. Once that was finished I ate out at my fav place, got a milkshake and started Monday. I am motivated. It is soon summer and I feel like a cow! I can't wait to be skinny. I feel better already. My boss even asked me yesterday how much I lost (he didn't know I was on a diet) I was like...uhhh 3lbs. Thanks for noticing?
I have $20 in Kohls cash that expires tomorrow so I am going there after work (if my stomach stops hurting)
I got a rocker/glider on craigslist for $5 the other day and I think it will be my weekend project. It needs sanded down and re-stained. It also needs a cushion. I am excited to make it purdy. Weeeee! lol
thank you ladies, for all of you that are responsible for my flower delivery....quite a surprise and they are lovely, xoxoxo, love and rainbows and kisses to you all, love you guys.
Seriously thank you so much, amazing how nice it feels to know people really care even though they are far away, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
and to give you all a chuckle....when I told my hubby you guys sent me flowers he said very matter of factly...."they should of sent you a straight jacket"
It is going to rain like crazy today and all week and it's freezing out. Blah.
The wedding of the century has come and gone and it went great. It was a super fun day and the bride actually managed to have a great time, I'm really happy for her. Food wise, it was probably the most decadent and extravagant wedding I've ever been to, the cocktail alone would have been enough to have left everyone happy. And there was a poutine AND beaver tails station at the midnight sweets table! I totally nailed the speech, I got the tears and the laughs and was pretty darn pleased with myself. And the bride. groom and our close friends danced until 3am when the kicked us out Success!
Sounds perfect, Michelle. I'm happy everything worked out so well. I've never heard of poutine or beaver tail stations at a wedding. That is AWESOME! Pics?
We woke up in a winter wonderland this morning. I had to have a fun fight with Leah before school because last Monday, her teacher told her not to bring her snow pants to school anymore (it's been cold and she wears little leggings, so I kept making her wear them for the mornings) and I told her that this morning, she absolutely had to wear them. I won, but man. Turns out that teacher's opinions matter way more than mom's.
And Yay for successful, happy, fun weddings! I too would love an excuse to dance the night away.
Amanda, if your sister is meeting you and you already have your clothes packed, you may as well at least go to the gym and change for a workout. See where that takes you. But you know, if you're there and dressed, you may as well just hop on at least a treadmill for 30 minutes or so....
We spent a large portion of the weekend outside enjoying the almost 80 degree weather. It's so nice, but I am sort of looking forward to the rain predicted later in the week to wash away some of the pollen that has accumulated. Our allergies are in full force.

Lisa, glad to hear you guys finally got a taste of some decent weather. How did all you cupcake orders go?
Did you make it to the gym, Amanda?
Another miserable day here, weather wise. Also, Holly woke for the day at 4:30am and I have to go volunteer with the kids this morning, so maybe not just miserable in a weather related way. All around blah. To make up for it I'm eating a total fatty bagel/fried egg breakfast. So there.
James is napping now. He had a fever and chills all afternoon and evening yesterday but today he is healthy again. The snow is all gone, yay! And DH is working from home again because his office mate has turned out to be a crazy loon, yay (I'm happy to have him back).
