I saw this on another board. At least a month ago they started a thread to see if they could get 2012 posts on a single thread before 2012... Given the number of hits we have seen on a few threads in our own PR and on the FB board, I know that in the 50.5 days we have remaining until we ring in the New Year we can totally do it!

So let's all give a shout out. Use this as a random place for chit chat, and get the post count on this single thread up to 2012 by 2012!

I don't think we'll make it, but I'll post anyway. My parents came over today and my mom cleaned my kitchen and my dad played with Gabriel while I mostly rested. Good times. :-)

it's remembrance day here and i went to a to a ceremony with my dad and the kids. It was cold but good. They shot canons, so it was fun for ds.

I have a feeling my dad had some kind of bombshell to drop on his visit here. I hope it's nothing too serious.

I also want to get this off my chest. I am a Penn State alumni. I am proud of my education, my sports teams, the money we raise for children with cancer and so much more. I am so sad that a few horrible people have tarnished our reputation.

It was too cold for James and I to go to the Remembrance Day ceremony today, so we watched it on tv instead. We did see the plane fly over us a couple of times after though. James didn't like that at all (very LOUD).

I think James might be lactose intolerant and I feel really bad that it's taken me so long to figure it out. His poor tummy.

and Amanda chin up about Penn State...as my DH says this doesn't take away his degree, his experience in State College, the friends and good memories he has and all the good Penn State has and will continue to do. You and he are still Penn State, not the administration that failed to protect so miserably. HUGS! people don't understand unless you have been part of the Penn State community, it truly is devastating and many levels!

Hey gals. I really need to post here more. I'm just so occupied by facebook lately. I still love you guys. I am so tired.

Anyone got any good sleep remedies? I have ulnar nerve compression on my right arm and the pinky and ring finger get tingly at times. My dr gave me some wrist, elbow, shoulder strengthing exercises to do AND to sleep on my back. I'm a side sleeper, which probably exaggerated the situation, so I haven't slept good in over a week......ahhhhhhhh
