What are mornings like in your house? Are there any days of the week that tend to have harder mornings than others?

Typically Sam wakes up around 6:30am so DH and I get up, make coffee, Sam gets his breakfast and then we have to wake Sydney up around 7ish, that is typically no fun at all, she is not a morning person if she happens to wake up on her own it makes for a much better morning. After she is up she eats, then everyone gets dressed, teeth brushed and out the door around 7:45ish. DH currently does daycare dropoff. Once the New Year rolls around my work hrs are changing so I won't be starting work until 8:30 which means I will be doing drop off but it will give us a bit of extra time in the mornings which will be nice and not feel as rushed.

It depends on the day. Usually calm and uneventful. If we are quiet and tiptoe around, Levi will sleep until I wake him up. Our 1920s wood floors, however, aren't always in our favor.

My boss comes back from Cuba today which suckkkkksss because I haven't had to set my alarm for the past two weeks!

For the most part Cam is a morning person. However, for the past week or so he has been a major grump. All. day. long. I hope that he goes back to being my sweet little boy soon.

Mornings are CRAZY! I need to get three kids ready and dropped off plus get myself to work by 730 am. Uggg.

I get up at 615 to get in the shower & get ready. DH gets Jax up around the same time and feeds Jaxon and gets him dress. Then he proceed to lay on the couch while I get the diaper bag ready, brush jaxon's teeth (which has become a nightmare this past week) and finish getting him ready, ie socks, shoes, jacket... and go drop him off at school. Okay I might be a little bitter that DH gets to lay around all morning...

I get up at 6:30ish and talk to hubby online while I get ready for work. then I get nattie up around 7:10-7:15, make the bed get nattie dressed and we leave (she eats breakfast at daycare - it puts me getting to work about 20 or so min early but makes drop off much easier becasue as soon as they give her food she stops crying - lol).

I'm up at 6:15, shower, get dressed. DH is up at about 6:45. Noelle is up somewhere between 6:30 and 7-ish. The older kids are up at 6:30 for Genna and 7:00 for Stephen. DH and Genna leave the house at 7:40. Three days a week Noelle, Stephen and I leave the house at about 8:30, drop Noelle at day care, Stephen at school then I'm at work by 9. The other two days we leave at 8:15, drop Noelle off at her Great-Aunt's house, drive back home to take Stephen to school and I am at work by 9. The time between when I am ready and when we leave I spend folding diapers, signing school papers and picking up the house.

That will all change after the first of the year when I have to be in the office by 8:30, everything will get bumped to about 40 minutes earlier. I am not looking forward to that at all.

Tuesdays are the hardest here. On Tuesday I can go to work whenever I want so of course on Mondays I stay up too late and don't want to get out of bed in the morning when Harleigh wakes up. And then its a rush to get showered and dressed and get Harleigh to daycare.
