Well, my parents stuff has finally been making it's way (SLOWLY) out of our house, so our stuff from my grandparents house has been making it's way inside, which meant the space in our room for Amber's crib was gone, and well after 17 months of having her in the room and not having the other kids in room longer than like 6/7 months, I was ready for our room back, I had thought I'd keep her in til I quit breastfeeding (planning to do so at 18 months), but she moved into a big girl bed in her own room a couple weeks ago.

And thank God, she STTN sometimes now, not every night, but never when she was in our room. The first night she was SO upset and went over and slept in a great big brown chair in her room instead, but now she loves the bed and she's doing great, there is just one problem...her brother likes to go open the door and let her loose, how to stop that Idk!

How exciting that she is in a big girl bed! I have contemplated doing that with Harleigh, but I don't think either one of us is ready for that. Can you get a baby gate to put in the door way so she can't escape?

Our kiddos are growing up way too fast. Way to go Amber! Abigial's bed converts into a toddler bed and I have thought about it but she has just now started sleeping through the night on occasion. I am so scared that any little change will throw her back into her old ways so for now she's gonna stay in her crib.

I keep my kids in cribs until they start trying to climb out. Alie stayed in a crib til she was almost 3. LOL!

Our crib also turns into a toddler bed. I have also thought about it, but Noelle is such a horrible sleeper to start with I just haven't made a change. She doesn't even try to climb out at this point, so I figure why bother until she does.

yay amber! We just put the mattress on the floor for Dallas, tonight is the first night and seems to be going well. Good thing we didn't open and set up that second crib we got yet...

We just got a door locker for the outside of her room so LJ can't open the door.

My first did too. My second I moved out of the crib when he and his sister slid (on a slide) into it and broke the thing, we did put it back together eventually, but by then he was in a big boy bed and a few months later his little brother moved into it, ds1 was not quite 2 then.) LJ moved out of the crib when we moved here, he was 17 months or so old, but already a big brother, cuz Amber was born...and now I'm pregnant again so...
