What is one item of technology that you could not live without??

What is the one item of technology that still leaves you scratching your head and asking "whyyyyyyy"?

Could not live without: My computer. My life is in here.

Don't get: the tablets. I don't understand why you would need one if you have a computer and a smart phone. And it looks silly when people pull these huge things out to take pictures.

Could not live without: for me it's a toss up between my phone and my computer. I think if I had to choose between them, I would choose the phone.

Don't get: I'm not sure what I would choose for this one. I kind of think that everything has evolved to have it's place. I once would say tablets, but with the kids getting older in school I am seeing more and more that educational materials are being digitalized and one day, probably soon, a tablet will be a required material for kids in schools.
