First off I want to say I have never used a forum bored before so please bare with me ... I'm 23 years old and I had an eptopic pregnancy in May of 2008, I have never recovered from the emotional or physical pain from it. I've never been able to talk to anyone who understands what I went through. I have been TTC for a little over a year but have no luck. I'm not sure what to do but me and my husband really want a child. Is there something I can do to help me conceive? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for ready

I am very sorry for your loss. The ladies of TTCAL are amazing and so helpful. Have you had an appointment with your doctor and had any testing done? Your doctor might refer you to a RE since you have been trying for over a year. Another thing, I'm not sure if they have done anything since your loss but after an ectopic pregnancy your tubes can become blocked. They can check that by doing a Laposcopy or Hysteroscopy. The ladies of TTCAL might not see your post here as this spot isn't used that often. Here is a link to the main board. Hopefully they can give you some more advice

Hi there and welcome, I agree with Shortcake that you should see your doctor, after 1 year of TTC they start to do some testing. I haven't had any experience with ectopic pregnancies myself, but I know some of the other ladies have. Why don't you re-post your first message in the main room? That way it will be a bit more eye-catching
I'm sorry you are still having a rough time from your previous loss. Do you think maybe you didn't allow yourself to grieve? Or just never healed from it emotionally? Are you also saying you still struggle from physical pain as a side effect of the surgery? I hope you can find some comfort here, post whenever you want or need to. We all understand grief and loss.

Thank you both for your comments, I really appreciate it. I have not seen a Dr in a while cause the one I have has not done anything for me. I am trying to find a new one asap. I haven't had any problems getting pregnant but the pregnancy never goes full term . I will definitely post on the main board, thanks again

I'm sorry your doctor hasn't been helpful at all. Definitely find a new one, or you can look for a reproductive endocrinologist.
Let us know how it goes!
