I have been EP for a week now and not sure when I should start to freeze my BM. I pump 40-52oz a day, but I'm not sure how much I should have in the frig bf I actually start to freeze. My LO eats 25-31oz a day, usually 4oz for each feeding and eats about 8 times a day. He will be 3 weeks Tue & I'm nervous if I start to freeze to soon I won't have enough fresh for him when he wants it. I have found great tips for mothers who exclusively pump but no advice on when and how to start you a stash for later on. I am going back to work at 12 weeks and am hoping for him to be on BM exclusively as long as possible so I want to have enough for when the time comes. Also, do you start to produce more milk later on? I've read where mothers pump 20oz per pumping session. Is this normal? Can anyone pump that much per session? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
