Congratulations Gwyn, Sarah, Stacey, Kat, Jamie, Adi, and Lizzy! You are proceeding to round 2!
Round 2 will close at the end of Tuesday, December 8 at midnight. On Wednesday and Thursday, the 9th and 10th, we will have one poll with all the round 2 submissions and the bottom 2 will not advance. Round three will be the same, with the remaining 5 competing and the bottom 2 not advancing. The final round will be round 4 with all finalists competing for first, second and third places. If anyone doesn't get their layout in by the deadline then they will be disqualified and automatically counted as one of the two not advancing.
Here are the qualifications for round 2: You must do a layout with at least one picture fully extracted, or 2 or more pictures partially extracted. Here are some basic instructions:
Magnify the picture REALLY big.
Take a soft brush and gently go around the edges.
Don't use a HUGE brush. A small to medium brush will be easier to control.
If you need help with this please ask on the main board, even though this is a competition we are all happy to offer assistance!

Thanks!!! I like to think I'm pretty darn good at extractions But you are just as capable lady and have way more scrap experience than I do. You can totally take this one

Can I just say that I did not think I'd advance past round one or otherwise I would have tried to talk Adi out of doing extraction for this round. I am so freaked out about this challenge, lol! I've never done one before!
Ok, my photoshop is being dumb again... This was are far as I got before it started up with errors again. lucky for me I saved it that far along. So I will go ahead and enter it anyway.
