Are your children willing helpers around the house, or do you have to ask them to help out?

At this age, I wouldn't EXPECT Gaby to do a lot around the house, but she ALWAYS wants to help out when I'm doing any cleaning etc around the house.. it's so cute. she always insists on doing part of the vacuuming, or part of the sweeping - and last week she helped me clean the walls in the bathroom. I just wish she'd stay this way because I know there'll come a time when she will be very unwilling to help

My youngest 3 enjoy helping. My second oldest is the most helpful. He loves to clean and tidy up without even being asked!
My oldest usually disappears when he knows I'm going to ask for help.

Some days, yes and some days, no.

My oldest(he's 6) is usually very willing to help as is my 2 yr old. My nearly 4 yr old is not.

My daughter, 6, is always more than willing to help out. My son, 3, does not yet fully have the ability to understand the concept of cleaning however he does pick up after himself which he typically does not mind doing but he's 3 so tantrums come around sometimes.

It sorta depends on her mood, I think!

Sometimes she wants to help when she sees me clean.. especially dusting, she loves to use the duster! And she likes to help pick up her room.

Other times, f.o.r.g.e.t. it. She won't touch cleaning.
