Wanted 4 or 5 but as I got older realized Id not get that many.
Had 3 and am very satisfied.

I always wanted AT LEAST 4 kids. We're stopping at 4 because pregnancy is so rough on me.

DH joked he wanted 10. I thought 2 or 3. We have 4 and tried for #5 but my body is too old to make healthy babies.

I always thought I would have 4. My husband and I both come from a family of 4 children so we thought for sure that is what we were going to do. We have 2, a boy and a girl. It may have been different if we didn't get one of each right away.

As a teenager? NONE
As a twentysomething? 5 and I wanted 5 for a very long time but changed my mind the last few months.
I have 4 and that's PLENTY!

atleast 2, we had 3, we were thinking of a 4th if 3 was a girl, she was, but 3 is where we ended up

As a youner teenager, none. At 17 i wanted only one. 'I got pg at 18 and thought still only 1, until she was 2 weeks old and wanted another.  I have 7. Go figure!  My dad bugs me about it all the time, saying, 'gee, this, from the girl who never wanted kids!' lol Funny how things work out.

I didn't think I wanted any. But my biological clock took over! I am more than happy with 1. I love being a mommy to Ady!!!
