My 6 month old son, Joshua, likes to sleep with the blanket over his face. When I put him down he pulls the blanket up over his face and if I don't give him a blanket he screams and won't sleep. So usually I go in there are pull it off his face once he's asleep, sometimes I have to be real careful because he's still holding it to his face. The doctor told me at his 6 month check up that he's fine and he can now pull it off his face if he can't breathe. But it still worries me!! I make sure the blanket I put him to sleep with is really thin.

Does anyone else have a child that does or did this??

James is also 6 months old, and does the blanket over the face thing. I do the same thing as you, wait until he's sleeping and then take it off. I've tried giving him a little teddy bear to see if he'd use that instead (it's pretty small, so the chances of smothering are slim), but he doesn't seem to care about it.

You're not alone! (But of course, that also means I don't have any answers for you... )

Wynston is just the opposite. He does not want any covers on him. He does have a tendency to snuggle his face into the pillows, which freaks me out.

I have a blanket that this lady made for me that has big holes all in. It's really just for decoration BUT if you can get something like that maybe it will work???
