So I've never done anything like this before, it was actually a friend who turned me on to the idea. She is amazing and helped me come to the conclusion that if another child is what I want I should try. Here I am, 28 with PCOS and in a lesbian relationship. It's kind of a double whammy, we can't conceive naturally and even if we couold there's the PCOS. I still have very mixed feelings because I don't want to get too excited about trying since it's expensive to buy sperm and we don't even know if we can afford it. Asking any of our male friends is pretty much out of the question because none of them would be able to maintain distance and be just an uncle. They are all really involved in their childrens lives. That's just about it.
Taking it one day at a time.
I am also new, but haven't started to journal yet.
I have been ttc with my hubby for the past 5 years or so... The process is definitely long and involved... we don't have children yet, but I know it will be well worth it.
I wish you all the best in your journey - Hopefully you will be blessed to add to your family, and that everything goes well!
