I started a food diary before we got this sub-forum but i stopped writing because, well my diet has been horrible and honestly i've been ashamed of it. I know starting this back up and sticking with it will help me eat better. I don't need to lose weight, i just need to eat healthier foods and a lot less junk! I've also been in a horrible habit of eating unhealthy snacks instead of real meals.
~August 10, 2010~
Breakfast: Bowl of multi-grain cheerios w/fat-free milk, chocolate dipped granola bar (not sure the real name of it)
Snacks: 3 chocolate chip cookies, Ritz crackers w/peanut butter & honey (I know it sounds odd but i'm addicted to this combination), Cheesy mashed potatoes
Lunch: (see above) ... I told you i've been bad about this lately...
Dinner: Mcdonalds cheeseburger, 3 chicken nuggets, fries, Diet Coke
Dessert: Mcdonalds hot fudge sundae
Okay so there it is. I hate writing all of that down because i know it's terrible and TBH it's not even as bad as most days lately. But it really does help motivate me to eat better. If i stop writing in here, i need you all to track me down and get my butt back in here! lol.

Snack: Left over mashed potatoes, ritz bitz crackers

Lunch: Lots of pizza at Primo's (didn't even keep track! ), Diet coke
Snack: Small root beer float from A&W
Dinner: Turkey sandwich on white bread w/honey mustard sauce, couple tortilla chips, pack of cheese crackers

Lunch: Slice of cheese pizza from Costco, Diet Coke
Dinner: Carl's Jr. burger, small fries, Diet Coke
Dessert: Cold stone creamery- Like it size reeses & brownie ice cream (so delicious)

okay girl, there is not a single solid green veggie in this whole diary! i challenge you to eat a leafy green or some broccoli.

I know i'm horrible about eating greens, or any veggies for that matter. Okay i promise to eat some type of vegetable tomorrow.

Breakfast: N/A
Snack: Ritz crackers, PB & honey (i have a major sweet tooth but don't usually keep sweets around my house so this is why i always go for this ), glass of milk
Lunch: Left-over beef enchilada casserole, Diet Pepsi
Snacks: Handful of M&Ms, watermelon, Pack of cheese crackers
Dinner: Hot dog from Costco (I am there ALL the time, LOL), Diet Coke (really should stop drinking soda so much...)

I love costco! Does yours have those coffee smoothie things? I love those and they are so cheap! (and horrible for you I'm sure!)
I swore off soda in 7th grade and never looked back. I've never had a cavity and haven't had it in so long I don't feel like I'm missing a thing! And good luck getting your veggies. If you don't like greens, try throwing some spinach in a smoothie with some blueberries. The berries mask the spinach flavor.

Yes they have the mocha frappes. Those are so good and cheap! lol. So i know i haven't been writing my food down but i've been eating one veggie a day. I'm really picky about vegetables but it's just about finding certain ones i like. For instance i like french style green beans so i've been eating those lately.
