There is a "test" called the EDINBURGH POSTPARTUM SCALE and it is used universally to help determine whether someone is suffering from PPD/PND.
"The Edinburgh Scale is a well-known tool for new mothers to determine whether they might have postpartum depression"
The link below that will take you to a website where you can complete the scale and it will calculate your results, it will scale your results and tells you what you have scored. Note: this is anonymous, no one will know your score.
* Maximum result of 30 points
* Possible Depression = score of 10 or higher
If you score higher than 10 its imperative that you seek medical assistance. Don't be scared to ask for help and remember the sooner you are diagnosed and treatment is commenced the sooner you will recover.
