Hi my name is Kim and I am 38 years old.I am married to a great guy,Michael, and I have a 20 year old daughter and we have a 20 month old son together.
I had a c-section with Logan and I had a really hard time dealing with that and I think I had PPD for several months but never sought any help. Then it seemed like it got better. But then DH deployed this May overseas and I was again overwhelmed and crying at anything and everything.I finally called my ob/gyn a month ago and they prescribed Lexapro and I feel so much better now.
My husband does not know and neither do my inlaws or my daughter.
I don't want him worrying about me.
I did tell my mom and a couple close friends though.
I am so glad that you are getting help. It will help to talk to people even if it just us . We are here when you just need to let it out. Are you doing anything else to help? Working out, a hobby, stuff like that.
