I suspected it a few times in my DD's first year. I didn't really notice anything was wrong until my DH got home from his deployment though (DD was about 16 months old) I realized that I felt no connection with him anymore and I found myself considering leaving him for no reason. It still took me about another 6 months to consider talking to someone about it and even then, I waited another year to actually do it. Even though I didn't recognize it fully after my first DD was born, I think it went on that whole time, I just played off everythign I felt as being normal and not PPD.
