Hello, Im Ellen.
I just gave birth to my baby boy Gabriel July 26th. He is about 4 weeks old now. I have suffered from depression for about 5 years now. I have been on medication since I can remember, even through my pregnancy I have been on Wellbutrin. I am still very depressed and its not helping that my husband is active Army and deploying next month. Im doing nothing but crying, feeling angry at the world, and even my husband for leaving..lost and lonely. I dont want to be touched or kissed by DH.
Im not sure if you could classify it PPD, but I am here to read other's stories and learn and hopefully help some other mommies on the board. **HUGS** to everyone!

Welcome. That is alot of stress with a new baby and DH deploying. I know when my hubby would get ready to leave or I would leave (we were both active duty for 10 years.) I would pick more fights. Its easier to leave mad than sad . I hope the deployment goes quickly and he is home safe and sound before you know it. We are here to listen if you need us.

Thanks JessP! I was active duty as well..and I agree, it seems you always pick more fights before they leave..and it sucks it has to be that way..I will enjoy meeting everyone and making friends!
