What advice would you give others who are suffering with PPD?

Definitely see a psychiatrist to see if meds can help, and see a therapist so u can talk/vent!!!! And please don't feel guilty for having PPD.... I know that is much harder said than done =( I am still dealing with the guilt, and my son is almost 3.

I would ditto ^ that. And add don't hide it. Talk!! That is what really helped me. Meds did too but I think they got me over the hump and when I let myself talk about it with family and friends too, I felt much better. Nobody realized the shape I was in until I started talking about it.

Don't blame yourself. Know that it's normal and happens to a lot of women, even if you are really happy and love your baby,it isn't your fault that you have PPD.

Talk to someone who can help and try different ways to get rid of the PPD. Meds or diet and supplements may help.
