So the public health nurse just left.
I have to say I am SHOCKED at the amount of support that my rural county has for women and children.
A counseller is coming to talk to me about the support group next week.
But the nurse is setting up recurring home visits for me to chat and do assessments. They are going to work to try to determine the cause of the depression (chemical or just stressful circumstances) and help with treatment. They will help with prenatal if we decide to get pregnent again and will be with me through pregnancy and after birth to help with treatment and look for issues.
I am just surprised at all the help they are offering. And there is another group that will help me out at the house if I have to have surgery and am unable to walk.
