I wanted all of you wonderful ladies to know that we can fight through PPD, we can get past it but I would also like to make this board more welcoming to you, beings I am trying for host of the board I thought I would ask you all what you think should change, or what should be added on to the board. I am also offering to answer questions you may have. I will try to help everyone out the best I can and in the end if I do not end up hosting this board, that's ok, I'll still try my hardest to help out. I want to be there for other moms like myself!

I personally think the fact that most of the posts don't get paid attention to until long after it's been posted. So I think as long as there are people responding to the posts it will draw people in. Plus after you make host you will beable to post invites and let other women more aware that it's active they will be more likely to post more.

I think the stigma about PPD stops people from posting as well. There are so many mommies out their quietly suffering by themselves, I think if they had the courage to post. They'd find an open caring network of women. I know too that when you are suffering it is hard to get motivated enough to do anything, get dressed, eat dinner, post online. Perhapes the best thing to do is ask the women that have previously posterd their sturggles to post and update, and a summary sotry so that the lurkers suffering can read their stories and know that this too shall pass.
