Hi Everyone, I hardly ever post, but I thought I would share my birth story

I was scheduled for a repeat c-section on April 1st. At 2:00 am on March 18th, I woke up to a huge wet spot in my bed. I woke my husband up and told him that I thought my water just broke. I was 37 weeks +2 days. We called L&D to let them know we were heading in. We brought our daughter to my brother-in-law's, and got to the hospital by 3:30. They checked me then called my doc who said he would be right over to do the surgery. Shortly after 4:00 am I was prepped and wheeled in to surgery, and at 4:49 am my son, Logan J.J. was born. He was 8 lb 4oz....big baby for being 3 weeks early! He was perfectly healthy, although he developed jaundice on day 3, and we had to used a light blanket for 2 days. We both came home Monday. He also lost 13% of his body weight due to not sucking correctly. We are still working on breastfeeding, which is starting to get a little easier. And he is finally starting to gain weight. He is up to 7 lb 7 oz.
