So I saw my midwife yesterday for my 30 week appt.
My last appointment a month ago, I was measuring 2 weeks ahead so they wanted me to do the 3hour Glucose test and skip the 1 hour. I didn't freak out, since it could be the babe's position or whatnot. Anyhow, today I got the results back, they were good! However, my iron was towards the low #'s of low. That didnt surprise me since I was very anemic with my last two pregnancies either. It just kind of annoyed me that they didnt call to tell me so I could take supplements since Ive been feeling really sluggish the last 2 weeks, and 2 weeks ago I called the secretary to see if she had my results and she said "Well if they werent ok you would have had a call". So now Im on my iron , and playing around with it since Im sooo constipated (takes me about 3 weeks to go once, TMI, I know, lol).
Anyhow, my weightgain is up 19lbs total now

I was hoping to gain 20lbs max this pregnancy since Im chubbier to begin with. But I think it has to do with me being lazy this entire month with no energy.
She measured me and I was measuring big again. I was measuring at 35 weeks, so 5 weeks ahead. Last appointment it was 2 weeks ahead. Then after doing that, she had me lay down to check babys position, etc.. baby is still head up and not down yet. SHes super active, so Im hoping she will move head down soon. Heartrate was fine, in the 150's, then she moved it around and decides to laugh on my other side of my stomach and look at her student and say "Is that two heartbeats"

and her student goes "maybe we should get another doppler".. I went white, and it took me a good minute to speak and ask her if she was kidding or not, and she laughed and said yes. Im not that gullable but I thought with me measuring big the last 2 appointments, and measuring 5 weeks ahead now - that I should have believed them, lol.
So anyways, she is sending me in for an ultrasound today at 4pm to check for polyhydramnios (excess amniotic fluid) which could be related to a lot of things, including esophogus probs, etc. . I guess that happens when baby isnt swallowing the amniotic fluid properly so I get excess fluid build up which makes me larger for my dates. Then after my appointment it had me thinking on my way into work.. that Dave was born with Pyloric Stenosis, and has a strong family history of it. I told my midwife about it back at my first appointment so maybe she forgot. Basically Pyloric Stenosis to my understanding is when a small baby cant digest breastmilk/formula and projectile vomits due to a blockage at the end of the digestive system, which is only fixable by surgery. So maybe my baby has it, since its heredetary? And maybe thats why if I do have excess volume, thats why? I dont know.. I dont know much about this condition. So if the results come back showing too much fluid, Ill remind the midwife again about Dave's family history of pyloric stenosis.
My midwife gave me the OK to fly next week because I have to be at court. But I had high bp 2 days ago , but was normal again yesterday... so just to be sure she photocopied my chart to bring with me. Im nervous as heck to go to court, so its toying around with my bp... since its my custody hearing/trial with my ex husband in regards to my two kids with him. Please wish me luck on that
Anyhow, thats about it
