I cannot afford to get sick. Yes, I have lots of problems with migraines and allergies and other health issues. But being sick...oy! I have had the hardest time with this sinus infection. I don't have the drainage and stuffiness or any of that to deal with any more, so that's a plus. But omg the side effects from the meds. I have had nausea, headache, and a weird metallic taste in my mouth. The symptoms come and go, so it's not like I'm dealing with them constantly. And I know it's the antibiotic because I have had meds from this family before and they have always made me nauseous. I can't have 2 of the major drug groups because I have drug allergies, so I know that discomfort for ten days is a small price to pay versus the alternative. The doctor did give me a choice of a couple of other meds, but being that I couldn't miss work, I couldn't choose the 3 or 5 day courses (because I've had 'em before and I get the runs). I was uber sick last night....literally. Not fun at all.
Thank goodness Brant did the vacuuming. (He normally does, but I didn't even help.). Most of my gifts are finally wrapped, and I just need to find one more address for a Christmas card. The stockings aren't out yet, though, and the bathrooms need to be cleaned and the living room needs to be picked up today before the piano tuner comes. I also have a ton of school stuff that needs to get done before the end of the month, and I have to go through all the kids' things before Christmas somehow and clean the master closet. Not to mention that I have guests coming so all my nights from December 28 through
January 6 are probably not free.
Santa, please send me a personal assistant! And yes I know I complain too much!
Do you think Santa will send me personal assistant for Christmas?
