Or is just mine ? Alyssa used to be such a sweet natured kid, always polite and helpful, a bit oversensitive, but really placid and easygoing, a pleasure to spend time with...
I'd say the last few months.. wow she's really changed, she answers back, has an awful temper, argues with everyone, and has become almost unrecognizable, she can be mean, and diffiant (sp) i honestly don't know what's going on. Don't misunderstand, she's not like this all the time, and i do see glimpses of the lovely kid she used to be, but at least once per day I'm having to discipline her, and i'm not used to doing that because she's always been so good.
Anyone elses kiddo suddenly seemed to have become a "teenager" overnight?

I actually posted about this. Yes. Samantha is acting exactly like Chelsey did at 13 when going through puberty. She told me Sunday she was going to kills me. The attitude, oh my gosh! She can be so incredibly hateful to me. I almost ran away last week. She's better right now, but it's like Invasion of the Body Snatchers right now. Never know from day to day what child I'm going to have.

Alyssa has been off school this last week and the difference in her behaviour was plain to see, she was such a good girl. So I'm thinking it's maybe a school thing? she seems happy enough at school, although she doesn't like her teacher as much as she liked her last teacher. I dunno, i guess i'll just keep an eye on her.

^That explains T perfectly!^
It's like this with all three, from hour to hour I don't know what kind of child I have to deal with. One minute they are all perfectly behaved angels, listening, helping, being kind and sweet. The next... It's like a total nightmare, especially when all three decide to be little hellions at the same exact time. Like this morning!

My 5 yr old girl WAS a sweety until late last year. She has developed an attitude that drives me crazy, commign up with rude/smart remarks. She picked up a few bad words from Pre-K which i nipped fast by talking to the teacher and figured out who's little ones say it in class(not hard since there is only 2 kids who have issues at home and show it at school).
Now she is back talking me, being a little more agressive and rude to her little brother. Picking on him and saying things like stupid butt head(to some this dont bug them but i want her to grow up with respect for all no matter what they look like or act), then loser started popping up and more names that will put you down.
She is a grandma girl since i live with my parents till end of the school year. I have been able to get "im sorry" after a tough love approach but not settle the actual problem. Im lost on this since i had my kids 10 1/2 months apart and having agression problems with my son( he has some social issues and tryn to get him help for it)

Abby was semi obnoxious a few weeks ago. She got a lecture and I discussed possible consequences with her. She had to be reminded a couple of times, but she has been pretty good since then. My twelve and thirteen year olds, on the other hand....oy!

I'm going through the same thing with Jaidon. It drives me nuts but Kari and I like to joke about it because it's like God took everything that is wrong with Kari and I and put it into Jaidon. He's sarcastic, has a really bad attitude at times, and could care less about what you think and/or how you feel. He is a perfect angel at school though. David on the other hand is a mess at school and an angel at home, but we think he may be slightly adhd so that could be why.
