How is your child's behavior lately? Geez, I feel like we are already going through puberty here. She acts so much like her big sis when she went though puberty. One day, she's the sweetest child in the world and the next she's the ugliest, especially to me. I can't believe how bad she talks to me at times. It's been a very rough week this week for me because of her attitude, but it's better right now. No one told me 6 would be worse than 4. She spent most of the week grounded and in her room, which was part of the problem. She wouldn't pick it up. She almost lost the daddy-daughter dance today, a birthday party today, and cheer on Thursday. We've resorted to family prayer time and listening to the Bible on the way to school! She actually likes that. There are days when I'm not sure if she and I both are going to be alive when she is an adult! She's a lot like me, but I didn't treat my parents nearly as bad as she treats me! Behavior at school got bad again for a little bit after Christmas break. She and a friend of her's do not behave when together, so they aren't allowed to sit together at school. It's gotten better. Her teacher told her no more chances. She acts up one more time and she's calling us, which we have told her means no more outdoor recess that week and she'll sit in the principal's office. Geez, parenting is hard!

My biggest issue with Daniel lately is the whining. He's not really reached that defiant stage yet, but I'm sure it's coming. I think it hits girls sooner than it hits boys? Maybe? My boys have always been easier than my girl.

Oh my gosh, the whining! It's unbearable and she does it all of the time. She's worse when she tired or hungry. She actually told me she was going to kill me on Sunday. That was after she made coffee for me and brought it to me. Yes my 6 yr old knows how to make coffee now!
