to go back to school...schedule-wise? Do you have him or her go to bed earlier two weeks prior or wake up early for a week or anything like that? Or do you just jump into the swing of things?

I've just started making her go to bed at a decent time. During the summer DH likes to hang out with her and watch movies while I'm in bed! So this week it's been 9-930 in bed (she reads for a while tho) and we are working it back up. If her schedule is the same as next year she will have to be up at 6am for the bus at 645.

We were going to try getting her to go to bed early, but it didn't happen. We just jumped into it. Seems to work better with her. She did have to get up early two days before school started. She's so tired that she crashes at a decent time now.

I'm dreading this, Alyssa has been going to bed at 9pm but not sleeping until 10.30pm, last night she was still awake at 11.15 pm. I guess we'll be doing it the hatd way and she'll be really tired at school for a couple of days.
